Trail Rides at Frisco Horse Park
Come and enjoy a taste of the old West right here in Frisco, Texas. Our horses range from the calm to the spirited...whatever your riding pleasure & experience calls for! All trail rides are one hour long and will take you around our 450 acre pasture. We offer open fields, tree line areas, a beautiful ranch pond and other scenic sights.
Our Trail Ride options include:
"The Basic Bronco"
$35 (walk only)
"The Midway Mustang"
$45 (walk, trot)
"The Grand Champion"
$55 (walk, trot, and canter)
Trail Rides begin at 7 years of age unless the child has had prior lessons & training. We do not have horses that accommodate people over 250 pounds. Trail Rides are by appointment. We may be able to accommodate walk-in’s but we cannot ensure availability or timing. Trail Ride payments are due at the time of booking unless the total cost of the group trail ride is over $200. We would then require half down as a deposit & a credit card number on file to hold the spot.
In the case of inclement weather, please call ahead to see if it is raining at the ranch. If it is, trail rides will be rescheduled for a later time or date that is convenient for you. We offer trail rides 7 days a week during regular business hours by appointment.

All visitors (rider’s, non-riders, children, parents & grandparents) are required to have a waiver form filled out & signed in order to enter the property. Bringing it in with you upon arrival can help your group move right to the enjoyment part of your visit. You can find our waiver form under the "forms" link. Click on "Waiver and Liability Information Form", download and sign. Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of time to take care of paperwork. 1 Waiver per family. Waivers are good during the current year. A new waiver must be filled out each new year.
All visitors must wear closed toed shoes or boots. We recommend you don't eat a huge meal right before your ride time and dress appropriately for the weather. Helmets are always recommended. Your own bike helmets work best since they will fit you even better. We also have helmets that can be provided by the ranch upon request depending on the size of your group. Your trail ride will be guided by an experienced trail guide who can answer questions and assist you along the way. If you are looking for a more detailed instructional ride, please refer to our lesson page. One suggestion is to take a private 30 minute or hour long lesson, followed by a trail ride.
PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE BUT ARE TRANSFERABLE IF YOU CALL BEFORE 4 HOURS PRIOR TO THE TRAIL RIDE TIME. IF YOU CANCEL WITHIN 4 HOURS, YOU CANNOT TRANSFER TO ANOTHER DAY OR TIME AND WILL BE CHARGED IN FULL. IF YOU PROMISE TO PAY IN CASH OR CHECK UPON ARRIVAL OF YOUR INITIALLY BOOKED TRAIL RIDE AND YOU CALL TO CHANGE THE DATE, YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOUR CREDIT CARD WILL BE CHARGED IN FULL UPON THAT TRANSFER. in the case THAT THE weather DOES NOT ALLOW US TO FULFILL YOUR APPOINTMENT, YOU HAVE THE OPTION OF RETAINING YOUR CREDIT & RESCHEDULING OR YOU MAY REQUEST A REFUND.
